December 2015

December

December:

I love the pines, the cedars, the firs! Living in a forest provides endless daily joys. But in December, I must have lots of outdoor lights! Dat’s for sure!

November 2015

November

November:

So, for the first time we have a red-headed woodpecker at our feeder. It has a white belly. The reference books all have pictures just like it, but they call it a Red-bellied Woodpecker…

OK, WHO NAMED IT THAT?!

October 2015

October

October:

Find a window, any window, take a deep breath and watch the movie of Autumn!

Enjoy. Love life.

September 2015

September

September:

The temps are cooling. Time to pull out the fancy Fall hats and sweaters. Keeping both warm and fancy IS the way to go!

August 2015

August

August:

I love Summer.

Free flowers to enjoy all the time, inside and outside, love it!

Don’t forget your hand fans.

July 2015

July

July:

Floating, in Lake Simcoe, keeping cool and enjoying the squealing sounds of laughter.

And Eric pretending he’s a shark.

Simple joys!

June 2015

June

June:

Trees blooming colourful flowers, scents floating in the window, and Eric bringing me a fresh bouquet, to boot! Life is amazing! So glad I was born!

May 2015

May

May:

Yipee!

Spring delights!

Fiddleheads and bloodroot in the forest, forget-me-nots paint the lawn with blue, and daffodils and tulips decorate with yellow and red.

I LOVE COLOUR!

April 2015

April 2015

April:

Birds having babies… Life abounds!

Green, ahh, the ground and trees all growing green. Lots of growth everywhere and I am enjoying every bit!

March 2015

March 2015

March:

Dreaming of the long, sunny days of Summer… harvesting lavender, surrounded by rich deep colours.

Some winter days I want lots of colour inside and outside.

Gotta plant some seeds!
